 Job Description
The Desktop Support Engineer’s primary aim is to provide support to the organization’s IT system and help to meet business goals. As a Desktop Support Engineer, you will install client desktop computers / Laptops and assist the end user in securing their hardware. You will ensure that all computers and networks operate efficiently with high uptime.

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Support daily technical support activities for desktop, data, and server management
• Set up and test desktop computer /Laptops / Printers projectors and other peripherals
• Install and maintain equipment and software
• Perform system changes adhered to organizational policies
• If required conduct remote desktop troubleshoot to end users along with documentation of ticket maintenance
• Maintain technical documentation in association with other functional departments
• Provide excellent service and meet client needs by offering cost-effective technological solutions
• Perform other tasks as and when assigned

Qualification & Experiences:

  • Degree in Computer Science or related field
    • Minimum 5 years’ experience.
    • Proven work experience as a Desktop Support Engineer, Technical Support Engineer or similar role
    • Working knowledge of Ms office products and computer peripherals, like printers and scanners
    • Knowledge of network security practices and anti-virus programs
    • Ability to perform remote troubleshooting and provide clear instructions
    • Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills
    • Customer-oriented attitude
